Late Friday night into Saturday morning, the Northwoods got slammed with heavy snowfall and high wind, resulting in hazardous conditions. The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Green Bay issued a hazardous weather outlook Saturday at 3:24 a.m. warning people in northeast and north central Wisconsin counties — including Oneida and Vilas counties — that “snow and blowing snow will create hazardous travel conditions early this morning, especially north and west of the Fox Valley.”
