Vilas County corrections officer fired

Charged in Oneida County with theft

Vilas County sheriff Joe Fath told The Lakeland Times Wednesday the employment of a corrections officer at the Vilas County jail was “terminated.” Daniel Raphael De La Vega, 30, Rhinelander, was arrested in Oneida County last weekend, charged with retail theft.
