Lakeland football one win away from playoff qualification

Travel to Hayward to take on Hurricanes, tonight at 7 p.m.

One of the goals for the Lakeland football team is to make the playoffs each year. The Thunderbirds are one win away from officially clinching a playoff berth. To ensure a playoff spot, a team needs to have a greater than .500 record in conference play. With the Thunderbirds at 3-2 in the Great Northern Conference, one more win will do it.
