Most Northwoods snowmobile trails in good early season condition

Both Oneida and Vilas county snowmobile trails are open and ready for riding. Both counties opened their snowmobile trails at 8 a.m. on Dec. 23. However, riders should expect early season conditions. With the high winds and winter storms over last weekend, riders should also be cautious and on the look out for fallen trees and other hazards blow in by the wind.
