Directed by John Landis, “¡Three Amigos!” was released in December of 1986 through HBO and Orion Pictures. The film stars Steve Martin (who also served as a writer for the story), Chevy Chase, and Martin Short as the titular Amigos. It had a budget of about $25 million, and it made nearly $40 million at the box office.
