Phill-nomenal day for Lakeland volleyball

Thunderbirds go 4-2 in Phillips

Lakeland volleyball continued their conference and non-conference season with a quad in Tomahawk and a tournament in Phillips. On Thursday, the Thunderbirds fell 0-2 (24-26, 19-25) to Prentice, beat Wausau Newman 2-0 (25-18, 25-18) and fell to Tomahawk 0-2 (20-25, 17-25).  On Saturday in Phillips, the Thunderbirds beat Prentice 2-1 (25-23, 23-25, 15-10), Rhinelander 2-0 (25-16, 25-18), Bruce 2-0 (25-8, 25-6) and Florence 2-1 (17-25, 25-17, 15-6). The Thunderbirds fell 0-2 to Phillips (19-25, 18-25) and 1-2 to Ladysmith (25-17, 23-25, 13-15).
