Hodags hold onto Axe

Lakeland allows 438 yards rushing

The battle for the Northwoods Axe took place on Friday, Sept. 3. It was the rushing attack of the Rhinelander Hodags that proved to be the difference. The Hodags defeated the Thunderbirds 32-7 at Mike Webster Stadium in Rhinelander. The Hodags ended up rushing for 438 yards in the game, highlighted by Cayden Neri’s 278.
