Boulder Junction fire chief honored at state capitol

Eric Johnson one of 97 First Responders of The Year

On Tuesday, Oct. 26, all 97 First Responders of the Year were honored by the state legislature, including Boulder Junction fire chief Eric Johnson. He was nominated by Boulder Junction town chairman Dennis Reuss for his nearly 20 years of service “aiding the betterment of the fire department and his community through actively playing a role in fire prevention, mitigation, and education programs” a press release from Wisconsin State Senator Mary Felzkowski’s office stated.
