Snowmobile trails opening across the Northwoods

Riders should stay on trails, lakes not yet marked

Vilas County Snowmobile trails opened at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 27 with Oneida County trails opening a day later on December 28. Lakes and rivers in both counties have not yet been marked. Riders should stay off of lake trails until such time as they are marked by the snowmobile clubs.
