Vilas County snowmobile trails to open for the season

Vilas County Forestry director Al Murray issued a press release last week announcing the county’s snowmobile trail system, including all state funded trails and club funded trails, were to open for snowmobile use on Friday, Jan. 1 at 8 a.m. 

Plum Lake indefinitely pauses new recreation building project

Boulder Junction purchases new loader

The Vilas County board last week heard another broadband update from Bill Niemuth with the Vilas County Economic Development Corporation (VCEDC).  Niemuth last briefed the county board at its August 2020 meeting and this time, his presentation included a broadband grant program proposal. 

North Lakeland discusses home learning protocol
