Lakeland softball opens playoffs with shutout
Hosting a playoff game for the first time in a long time, Lakeland softball won their second playoff game in as many years on Thursday. The Thunderbirds beat 10-seeded Colby/Abbotsford 8-0 in a Division 2 regional quarterfinal game.
Conference crown clinched
Shutouts have helped Lakeland girls’ soccer to lead the Great Northern Conference. One goal was all they needed to win their second straight conference title.
