Marcia Fuller Albridge

Marcia Fuller Albridge, of South Padre Island, Texas and Hazelhurst, passed away peacefully at the family cabin on Yawkey Lake in Hazelhurst on Saturday morning, July 25, 2026.

Marcia was born in Wausau on August 10, 1953, to William J. and Doris A. (Fernie) Hoffmann. She was raised in Wausau until the age of 11, when the family moved to La Crosse in 1964. Marcia attended La Crosse Central High School, where she graduated in 1971. She then attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. It was during her time at Drake University that she would meet her future husband, Kenneth Morrison Albridge Jr. The couple was married on August 16, 1975. The couple was blessed with two children, Kenneth and Stacy. Marcia spent many years enjoying being a stay-at-home mom. 

The family eventually moved to St. Louis, where they lived from 1983 until retiring in 2019. Marcia was employed with the Centene Corporation as their executive director of ethics and compliance. 

Upon retiring, Marcia and Kenneth moved to South Padre Island, Texas, and continued summering at the family cabin on Yawkey Lake in Hazelhurst. 

Marcia enjoyed spending time at the lake, but most of all she loved being a mom, and took great pride in her children and grandchildren’s accomplishments. 

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth, children, Kenneth Morrison Albridge III, wife, Niki and their children, Liam and Christian Albridge of McFarland, and Stacy Ann Wooderson, husband, Derek and their children, Ava, Pierce, and Heath Wooderson, of Ft. Benning, Ga., sister, Sue Lippstreu of Sun City West, Ariz., and step-sisters, Barb Cole, husband, Rick of Frisco, Colo., and Cathy Vaaler, husband, Chuck of Wildwood, Mo. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, William Lippstreu, one stepsister, Peggy Kaiser, and her stepfather, Lew Fuller. 

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Marcia may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
