Richard N. Differt

Richard N. Differt, 91, of Hazelhurst, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, September 11, 2026, at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

Richard was born in Milwaukee on March 31, 1935, to Elroy and Florence Differt.

He was united in marriage in Milwaukee on February 21, 1960, to Nancy M. Wojciechowski. Dick was employed as a Salesman with the Quaker Oats Company. The family moved to Hazelhurst, where Richard was employed with the McNaughton Correctional Center.

Dick loved the outdoors and was a true sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, water skiing, and traveling. Dick also enjoyed collecting cars and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Differt; his son Scott Differt; his grandchildren Andrew Differt, Kent Differt, Cory Differt, Cody Differt, and Nikki Differt; and his great-grandchildren.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his sons, Randy and Brian Differt.

A Private Committal Service will take place.
