Kim Weber

Kim Weber, born October 24, 1951, passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 74.

Kim was born Kim Hammer to her birth mother, Dorothy Johnson Hammer. She was later adopted and became Kim Wendt, the daughter of Lewis Walter Wendt and Dixie Jean Wendt. After marriage, she became Kim Weber, the name by which so many knew and loved her.

Throughout her life, Kim was known for being a caregiver, a loving wife and family member, and simply a good soul. She had a way of leaving an impression on people. If you knew Kim, chances are you have a story, a laugh, or a memory of her that you will carry with you.

Kim loved her family deeply. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely — even if everyone knew she may have had a couple of favorites! That sense of humor and honesty was part of what made Kim uniquely Kim. She loved hard, laughed often, and was never afraid to be herself.

Kim also knew how to have a good time. She loved entertaining, being surrounded by family and friends, listening to music, and enjoying life. “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” could not have fit her spirit much better. Kim loved to party, laugh, make memories, and simply enjoy the moment.

Her caring nature was just as much a part of her. Being a caregiver came naturally to Kim, and she spent much of her life looking after and caring for others. She gave a great deal of herself to the people around her.

Kim was preceded in death by her birth mother, Dorothy Johnson Hammer; her adoptive mother, Dixie Jean Wendt; her brothers Charles Hammer Sr., Richard Hammer, Jack Hammer, Allen Hammer, and Walter Wendt Sr.; and her sisters Betty Horseman, Jan Hammer, and Ann Laper.

She is survived by her sisters April Rigg of Arizona, Robin Butler of Illinois, Johanna Vincent of Illinois, and Tiara Rozell of Mississippi, along with Bruce Rozell, Roger Butler, and William Vincent.

Kim will be dearly missed by her husband, Keith Weber; her stepson Chris Weber and his wife, Megan Weber; her stepson Eric Weber; and her grandchildren, Dulceanna, Makenzi, and Hayden, along with her extended family, many friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

Kim leaves behind a lifetime of memories — family gatherings, laughter, music, stories, and good times.

Her family will remember her for her big personality, her caring heart, her sense of humor, her love of family, and the unmistakable impression she left wherever she went.

Kim Weber will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
