Frank Peters, 79, of Lake Tomahawk, passed away on May 4.

Frank was a longtime resident of the Northwoods and a familiar face to many through his work and dedication to the community. Alongside his wife, Pat “C,” he proudly owned and operated Lone Pine Landing for 30 years, creating a welcoming place for both locals and visitors alike.

He will be remembered as a soft-spoken and gentle man who deeply loved his wife, his family, and the outdoors. Whether enjoying the Northwoods or spending time with those closest to him, Frank lived a life rooted in quiet strength and kindness. He could often be seen driving his Model T throughout the Northwoods.

Frank is survived by his two sisters Mary (Mark) Sandy (Arnie) both form Wind Lake. His children: Ed Choinski (Linda) of Lake Tomahawk, Joe Choinski of Lake Tomahawk, and David Peters of Mississippi. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Josh Choinski (Nikki) of Woodruff, Mike Choinski (Lisa) of Lake Tomahawk, Joe Miklos (Jess) of Lake Tomahawk, Christina Letto (Matt) of Oak Creek, Jake and Gavin Choinski of Minnesota. Frank is further survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
