Daryll A. Behnke

Daryll A. Behnke, 62, of Winchester, passed away on March 11, 2026. 

Daryll was born on November 22, 1963 in Milwaukee, to Ralph and Marie Behnke. He was a hardworking man who dedicated much of his life to serving others. He spent many years working as a school bus driver and also served as an EMT for 25 year and always willing to step up and help those in need.

More than anything, Daryll loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren meant the world to him. He was the kind of man who was always there when someone needed help, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer support. His caring heart, quiet strength, and devotion to his family will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Daryll is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Behnke, and his children Denise, Cortney, Caroline, Magnus, Ashley, Madison, Cody, and Levi. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. Also survived are his brothers James Behnke, Ronald Behnke, Richard Behnke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie Behnke, his brothers, Alvin, Raymond and Roger.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. A luncheon will follow at The Wolfs Den in Mercer.

A private burial service will take place at a later date with immediate family.
