Tori Peterson Brunold

Tori Peterson Brunold, 66, formerly of Woodruff passed away peacefully at her home in Eustis, Fla. on May 14, 2026 with her family nearby after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Jennie Peterson of Woodruff. Tori was three weeks shy of celebrating 40 years with husband, Jack Brunold and is survived by her children Jennie (Mark), Lydia (Jordan), and Matthew (Anna) along with seven grandsons and siblings Traci (Mike), Tanya (Greg), and Ty (Kathleen). She loved teaching (35 years), coaching, and her family and friends immensely. A memorial BBQ will be held on Friday, July 17, at Minocqua 70W Park Complex from 4 to 8 p.m. with live music from 5 to 7 p.m. Meat will be provided. Last names A-M bring a side dish to share; N-Z bring a dessert. BYOB and a chair or blanket. Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, at Ascension Lutheran in Minocqua at 10 a.m. with a cake reception to follow.
