Robert “Pat” and Susan Jo Patterson

Robert “Pat” Patterson (b. Nov. 2, 1928 – d. March 21, 2022) and his beloved wife of 65 years, Susan Jo Patterson (née Sisk) (d. Nov. 24, 2025), of Manitowish Waters, are reunited in rest.

Sue grew up in Chicago, where she met Pat, the love of her life. The couple married in 1956. Pat proudly dedicated over 21 years of service to the U.S. Navy. While he served, Sue raised their family and later proudly served the community as the Manitowish Waters town clerk for over 30 years. Following his military service, Pat also became a familiar face working at Mercer Hardware.

They are survived by their two sons, Jim (Debby) and Bill (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Leslie (Mike), Lauren (Luis), James (Melissa), and Jennifer; and nine great-grandchildren. The family extends their sincere gratitude to the friends who shared in their laughter over the years.

A joint graveside burial will be held at 10 a.m. on July 2 at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Manitowish Waters, with a memorial celebration of their lives to follow at the Rustic Roadhaus.
