Gilbert “Skip” Tosch

Skip passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and sons.

Skip was born in Chicago. His parents were Gilbert and Mary Tosch. He met the love of his life in Lynn Ruark. They were married June 13, 1964. Skip is survived by his wife, two sons, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

His working years were spent in the insurance industry. After raising their sons, Skip and Lynn relocated from Illinois to Wisconsin.

Skip was an avid train collector, active in the Lion’s Club, his church, and lake association. He was a kind and generous man who loved his family deeply, and also loved anything to do with Great Danes and jigsaw puzzles.

Services will be held on Skip and Lynn's 62nd wedding anniversary, June 13, at Church of the Pines in Minocqua. Visitation at 10:30 a.m. with service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hazelhurst Lions.
