Sue Carolyn (Moore) Bucher

Sue Carolyn (Moore) Bucher, 91 of Woodruff, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center of Rhinelander.

She was born in 1934 in Orangeville, Ill. to Milton and Laura Moore. She frequently spent time in the Wisconsin Northwoods with family and friends growing up.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Bucher of Freeport, Ill. They were married in 1959.

She is survived by her two daughters, Shelly Grymonprez (Tim) of Port Byron, Ill. and Angela Duwa (Doug) of St. Germain.

Her memory also lives on with her granddaughter, Briana Grymonprez Hall (Jarrett), and great-granddaughter, Nellie Sue Hall (3) of Carnesville, Ga.

Lovingly known as “the catalog queen,” Sue always had a catalog, book, or crossword puzzle in hand. She also enjoyed crafting, baking, cooking, crochet, and traveling with her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oneida County Humane Society. Bob and Sue adopted their own dog Daisy from an animal shelter, and Sue was an avid supporter of many charities.
