Marlene Diana Duvall

Marlene Diana Duvall passed away peacefully at her home in Alaska on November 29, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on May 1, 1935, in Hurley. Marlene spent most of her life in her beloved home state, eventually retiring in the town of Minocqua before moving to Alaska with a family member.  

A gifted and dedicated dressmaker, Marlene brought creativity and craftsmanship to everything she made. Her skillful hands and artistic eye were evident not only in her sewing, but also in the many arts and crafts she made throughout her life. She found joy in gardening, fishing, and even enjoyed an occasional game of pool-always bringing good humor and a little competition to the table! 

She was preceded in death by her late husband and two of her children, Diana and Joseph. She is survived by her children and grandchildren Daniel (Debbie), Joyce (Ron), Douglas (Jocelyne), Judith, Charlotte, Sharon, Danielle, Eric, Emily Justin, James, and Jacob along with extended family and friends who will remember her for her warmth, resilience, and the kindness and strength she endured throughout her life. Her family is grateful for the many people who offered companionship and care over the years. 

Marlene will be laid to rest in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
