William “Bill” Ghiselli III, 67 of Woodruff, passed away on February 7, 2026 at home with family following a courageous 2-year battle with cancer.
Originally from Chicago; Bill moved to Wisconsin to build a successful business, owner of Elkhorn Collision Center, Elkhorn, for 25 years and was a very respected business owner in Walworth county. His passion was aviation from a youth, getting his pilot’s license at a young age, earning many different type ratings and pursuing his flying career as a corporate pilot. He enjoyed flying his own airplanes and loved being involved in the airplane communities. Bill also enjoyed riding his Harley, snowmobiles, fishing, boating, hunting, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Carrie and by his beloved children; Christopher, Billy (Joy), Vince (Amy) Ghiselli, Kyle (Riane) and Cory Huffman. Further survived by his adored grandchildren: Vinnie, Josh, Sarah, Michael and Remi Ghiselli; Lexi, Dahlia and Paige Friberg and by his loving sister Mary Ann (Greg) Gilfillan.
He was preceded in death by his parents William II and Donna Ghiselli.
Funeral Mass for Bill will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Woodruff, at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 9 a.m. untill time of service. Following the mass all are welcome to a luncheon at Five-One Bar & Grill in Woodruff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s honor can be made to Families of Children with Cancer, focwc.org which he felt honored to be a part of.
