Pamela Rae Dervetski, 76, peacefully passed away on February 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 25, 1949, in Wausau, Pamela lived a life centered on people — loving them fiercely, supporting them endlessly, and making everyone around her feel welcome. Her warm smile, gentle heart, and vibrant personality left a lasting impression wherever she went.
Pamela’s infectious smile and outgoing personality were well known throughout Rhinelander during her many years of service at A&P Grocery (3 years), Kmart (27 years), BMO Harris Bank (9 years), and Trig’s (9 years), where she formed lasting friendships and brightened countless days
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of 59 beautiful years, Henry Dervetski — affectionately known as her Ken Doll, while she proudly remained his bride! She is also survived by her sister, Linnea Johns (Gerry); her daughter Melissa Kossow (Jim) and grandchildren Samuel and Kaiti Kossow (Barret), Levi and Carly Kossow (Etta and Emmie), and Anna Kossow; and her daughter Heidi Dervetski (Douglas) and grandchildren Moriah, Andreah, and Nevaeh Hershberger, along with extended family who were deeply loved and cherished.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Lester Johns; her mother, Lois Johns; and her older sister, Cheryl Delf.
Pamela will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation for Pam will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. with memorial services at 3 p.m., all at the Pine Grove Community Church. Reverend Jeremy Vander Galien will officiate.
