Monica Allen

Monica Allen, 51, of Lac du Flambeau, was a proficient hunter and fisherwoman who loved her family, friends, and the great outdoors. She was born on April 29, 1974, at Woodruff’s Lakeland Hospital. The generous and quick witted Monica often made soup and fry bread for her family.

She is survived by sons Raymond Allen and Quintin LaBarge; daughters Cameron Allen and Charlize Chapman, of Lac du Flambeau; mother Alice La Belle, of Lac du Flambeau; siblings David Allen, of Oak Creek; Daniel (Jennifer) Allen, of Lac du Flambeau, and Ann (Jim) Hartzheim, of Minocqua; grandchildren Luca and Sareya, of Lac du Flambeau; aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Donnie Allen Sr., and brothers Donnie L. Allen Jr. and Barry L. Allen.

Visitation was held at Bolger Funeral Home in Woodruff, on Sunday, April 5, and a Funeral Mass was on Monday, April 6, at St. Anthony of Padua’s Catholic Church in Lac du Flambeau.
