Jim Kelsey went to reunite with his beloved dog, Dakota, on November 14, 2025.
His commitment to his family, friends, and neighbors was evident in every aspect of his life.
After owning and operating several businesses in Illinois, he and Cheryl made their dream come true by moving to northern Wisconsin in September of 2000. For the past 25 years, they continued to be self-employed owning Taylor St. North and Woodland Auto Clinic.
Whether volunteering at local events for the St. Germain Lions Club or cruising the lake on his beloved Woody boat, he found joy in the simple pleasures and the company of loved ones. His passion was to share his home on the lake and entertain everyone by making homemade pizza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cheryl, and sons Jimmy (Cassie), Patrick (Jennifer) and cherished granddaughter, Becca. He is further survived by brother, Robert (Camille) and Susan Hopkinson (Scott). He was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Maxine Kelsey.
Jim’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed in St. Germain. A celebration of life will be held at Whitetail Inn, in St. Germain on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. Online condolences may be shared at: www.bolgerfuneral.com.
