William Lester Fleischman

William “Bill” Lester Fleischman, 80, of Muskego, died peacefully at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, after courageously fighting cancer for seven years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Angels Grace Hospice are appreciated.

Bill was born on October 4, 1944. in Davenport, Iowa to Lester and Lucille Fleischman. Bill married Margaret “Margie” Kain on October 26, 1996, in Galesburg, Ill., where they lived until June, 2015 when they moved to Eagle, and then to their place in Muskego.

Bill spent many years in the great Northwoods of Wisconsin in Minocqua where he was an avid golfer and bowler. He was never one to turn down a round of golf at Pecks Wildwood Golf Course or miss a chance to bowl at Minocqua Lanes or Woodruff Country Lanes and he competed numerous times at the National Bowling Championships. Bill enjoyed building golf clubs which gave him the ability to share his love for the game with others. 

Bill is survived by his wife, Margie (nee Massie); children, Teresa Sertic, Andy (Karen) Kain and Will Fleischman; grandchildren, Tony Sertic, Danielle Huey, Kyle Huey, Tony (Alyse) Kain, Nicole Kain, and Erik (Bella) Kain; great-grandchildren; Audrei, Ana and Silas; sister Sue (Rick) Rector; brother Terry (Tina) Fleischman; and brother-in-law, Edward “Skip” Massie. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Carol Massie.
