Scott Donald Juern, 63, of Freeport Ill., passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2025. Scott was born in Chicago. Growing up in Minocqua, he developed a love for the outdoors. He attended technical school in Eau Claire for Civil Structural Engineering, graduating in 1983. He was employed at an engineering firm for many years. He enjoyed fishing, especially on Lake Michigan as well as trips to Iowa. He also enjoyed spending time with his horses and dogs. Scott was known to be a creative mind and would often talk about starting new adventures and hobbies.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Mary Juern, children Wyatt, Adrienne and Savannah, grandchildren, siblings Carl Jr., Ken and Constance, and nieces and nephews especially Adam and Kyle.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Beverly A. Tanis, grandparents Phyllis “Jean” Wagner, Elmer “Red” Juern, Louis and Frances Neuville.
