Jeanne H. Olp

Jeanne H. Olp, 83, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, April 7, 2025, in La Crosse.

She was born on August 19, 1941, in Escanaba, Mich., the daughter of Verne K. and Hazel G. Dille. On June 13, 1959, she married Bruce L. Olp, in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2015.

Jeanne worked for over 40 years as a secretary for various businesses including: JW Calhoun Legal Office, Bergers Stone, Quick Freeze, Drake Environmental, National Mutual Benefit, Bernie Krebsbach Insurance and Fond du Lac Ford. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church and Ascension Lutheran Church of Minocqua. Jeanne volunteered at Pregnancy Health Line, and also made over 200 dresses that missionaries could pass along to girls overseas, and was a very dedicated Red Cross blood donor, giving over eight gallons.

She is survived by her children: Suzanne (Al) Ramirez of Minocqua, Patricia “Trish” (Jim) Powers of Onalaska, and Michael (Julie) Olp of Minocqua; her sisters Beth Krause and Christine Pieper, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and grandson Joshua K. Olp, her mother-in-law, Gladys Dobbratz, and brother-in-law, DuWayne Olp.

The family will greet friends and relatives from 10:30 a.m. to noon  on Monday, April 14, at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, 210 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac.

Memorial service will be held at noon on Monday, April 14, at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Tom Meyer officiating.
