Robin Lingenfelter, age 91, a resident of Harshaw, passed away March 30, 2025, at Tomahawk Health Services. He was born on March 15, 1934, in Plainview, Minn. to parents McKinley and Cecil (Vaughan) Lingenfelter.
He attended grade school and high school in Antigo. He was a talented man that worked in many fields. He served in the Army, owned his own upholstery shop, worked as a game warden, and enjoyed many years being an over-the-road trucker. He loved all the jobs he worked. He was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He taught upholstery classes and Sunday school. Robin loved reading, drawing, fishing, camping, canoeing, motorcycle riding, and the Packers.
Robin was preceded in death by his son Doug, daughter-in-law Lisa Lingenfelter, son-in-law James Cross; sister Nancy Karg; parents: grandparents; cousins. He is survived by his wife Connie Omitt; children: Greg (Marla) Lingenfelter, Janine (Mike) Wurzer, Dan Omitt, Chad (Emily) Omitt; grandchildren: Nick (Taylor) Lingenfelter, Alex (Nikki) Lingenfelter, and Ian Lingenfelter, Luke (Danielle) Cross and Stepanie (David) Grossman, Hannah (Derek) Studer, Nora (Landin) DePas, Jake and Katie Omitt, Nolan, Joshua, Evan, and Lauren Omitt; great-grandchildren, Avery Lingenfelter, Hadley and Hayes Lingenfelter, Evelyn Studer, Connor, Addie, Riley, and Charlotte Cross; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Harshaw, at 11 a.m.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
