Roy William “Crow” Bordeau Jr., 75 of Arbor Vitae, passed away on Monday, March 17 at Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua. Roy was born on January 27, 1950 in Milwaukee, the son of Roy and Dorothy (nee Greiler) Bordeau, Sr.
Roy married Nancy Hankins on January 16, 2018 and was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing and hunting. On July 1, 1996 he set a world record for the biggest bluegill caught in fly fishing.
He is survived by his wife Nancy and stepchildren: Johnna, Ray, Samantha, Joshua, Timothy, Chance and Elijah and grandfather to EmaLee, Edith, David, Natalie, Ivy, Luke, Phisher, Lila, Charley, Paisley and Harrison and great-grandfather to Ezra. He is further survived by his siblings Ann Bordeau, Sue Malloy, Patty (Scott) Kemmerling, Marcie (Dave) Haughn, Mary Hill, Carol Formiller, Leo (Patty) Bordeau and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents Roy Sr. and Dorothy and by his brother John and his wife Bev Bordeau.
Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Hiawatha Mobile Home Estates Clubhouse, 10870 Lake Shore Drive, Arbor Vitae.
