Lowell R. Bostrom

Lowell R. Bostrom, 71 of Minocqua, passed away on Wednesday, March 26 at his residence. Lowell was born on August 31, 1953 in Chicago, the son of Carl and Jacquelyn Bostrom. He married Dana Prohaska McMullin on August 6, 2011.Lowell loved his family. He was kind and generous and it made him happiest to help others; especially his children. He owned and operated the Woodruff and Weston ACE Hardware stores. His ACE Hardware stores were his passion and he loved to see them thrive along with the employees and customers. Lowell loved to travel, hike, fish, drive and explore antiques.

Lowell is survived by his wife Dana, and children Erin Bostrom, Lindsay (Drew) Leibrecht, Kelly (Kyle) Kaplan, Ani Bostrom and stepchildren Paige (Max Von Keudell) McMullin and Walker (Ashley Guerrero) McMullin and by grandchildren Nora, Sonja, Piper Leibrecht and by his sister Linnea (Lanny) Wilson and by nephew Luke (Rebecca) Wilson and many more nieces and nephews and countless friends and customers.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Jacquelyn Bostrom and his niece Lauren Wilson.A celebration of life for Lowell will be held this summer.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Children’s Miracle Network, Shriners or Kareshawaii.org.Online condolences may be shared at www.nimsgernfuneral.com.
