Lynn H. Fochs

Lynn H. Fochs, 83 of Schofield, and formerly of Minocqua, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 14 at Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, Lynn was born on July 26, 1941 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (nee Richards) Swazee.

Lynn attended North Central Technical College and worked as a secretary at United Methodist Church of the Pines for 12 years and at Walmart as a cashier for 16 years and most importantly was a loving homemaker.

She enjoyed bowling and playing volleyball in various women’s leagues in the Northwoods. She also loved to travel around the United States with her family and friends.

Lynn is survived by her husband Carl Fochs and by her son Paul (Angel) Johnson and daughter Kim (Brian) Woolf and by her grandchildren Hayle and Tristin Woolf, Precious Poupart, Lacy Poupart and Saphire Luna and nine great-grandchildren and by her brother Steven Swazee and by her two cats Willow and Ellie May.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl “Cal” and Dorothy “Dottie” and her sister Leslie Baer and by many beloved pets.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Oneida County Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
