Fourth annual advent retreat in Woodruff Nov. 30

Our Lady Queen of the Universe Secular Franciscans host their fourth annual advent retreat on Nov. 30. There is no fee only good will offerings.

At Holy Family Catholic Church, the program will begin at 9 a.m. and go until noon for lunch.

The program includes:

Sue Perry’s “From Beneath the Trap” is an award winning true story of one woman’s journey through the realities of domestic violence and abuse. 

Ed Haass’ “Be — Attitude,” which is a DVD on forgiveness. 

Tommy O, a musician and entertainer extraordinaire. 

Father Edwin Anderson, “Taking Us From Where We’ve Been, to Where We’re Going.”
