Boulder Junction Christmas Walk Nov. 29

Winter holidays in the Northwoods are magical, and there’s no better time and place to kick off the season than Boulder Junction’s Christmas Walk on Friday, Nov. 29. Bonfires and s’mores, horse drawn wagon rides, a lighted Christmas parade, a visit from Santa, and more make this the perfect celebration for kids and adults alike.

Starting at 10 a.m., head to the Winter Wonderland Arts and Crafts Fair and the Boulder Junction Community Center to start shopping for the perfect gifts. Additionally, The Grinch will be making a special appearance for photos!

At 3 p.m., stop by Peeple’s Park for s’mores and hot chocolate and warm up next to a bonfire. Then head across the road to the public parking lot for a horse drawn wagon ride.

The Friends of the Library’s annual Cookie Walk will be held at Acorn Lodge beginning at 4 p.m., don’t miss out on your chance to purchase tasty homemade treats while supporting the library.

Line the streets at 4:45 p.m. to see our lighted parade floats usher Santa into town! Immediately following the parade at 5 p.m. will be our annual tree lighting ceremony at Veterans Memorial Triangle.

More photo opportunities will be available after the tree lighting - head to Coontail for photos with some of your favorite princesses and Boulder Bear Motor Lodge for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

As you enjoy the festivities bringing the holiday season to the Northwoods, don’t forget to visit the many shops and restaurants in town to find everything you’re looking for this holiday season!
