Norman G. Kessro, 82, a resident of St. Germain, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at his home. He was born August 27, 1941, in Wheeling, Ill., to parents Paul and Alice (Hoffmeyer) Kessro.
Norman married Suzanne “Sue” Zirbel on February 29, 1964. He worked at American Motors in Kenosha for nine years. He then moved on to finish his working years driving a truck. His last seven years of employment were spent at Fink Brothers in Woodruff.
Norman enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. In his younger years, he participated in playing horseshoes, dart ball, bowling, or any sport that involved drinking beer! He liked to hunt and fish. In recent years he spent time watching the deer and birds in the yard. He had fun chasing his nemesis away, the squirrel.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents; son: Raymond S. Kessro; brother: Raymond P. Kessro; sister: Karen K. Neu. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Sue Kessro; children: Terri (Randy) Torgerson of Viroqua, Gary (Connie) Kessro of Kenosha, Sherri (Billy) Lawerence of Waukegan, Ill.; daughter-in-law: Anna Kessro of St. Germain; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Private family services were held on May 15.
