Marisa Ann Hagemann

Marisa Ann Hagemann, 45, of Manitowish Waters, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1978, in Rockford, Ill., to Randy Gulotta and Sonja Gulotta (Peterson). Marisa attended Harlem High School, where she participated in Spirit Squad. After graduating from Harlem, Marisa attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public health. Marisa met Jeff Hagemann of Janesville in the summer of 2013, and that’s when their love story began. Their love grew day by day, and had a fairy tale wedding on January 9, 2016, in the little town of Sayner. After moving to Manitowish Waters, in 2018, Marisa started bartending at the Sayner Pub every Sunday. She drew crowds of people into the Pub for Packer Games with her amazing personality, great laugh and killer old fashioneds. Marisa made friends with everyone she met, no matter their age, and never met a dog she didn’t like. Her and Jeff shared an equal amount of love for their three dogs Emily, Merle and Phyllis, and included them in every vacation they planned. Marisa was an incredible dog mom, but an even better stepmom to her two stepdaughters Taylor (25) and Madi (24). Madi and Marisa went on hundreds of dog walks, coffee dates and yoga classes together, and talked on the phone about everything. Marisa loved her family very dearly and will be missed by many. Marisa is survived by her dad, Randy Gulotta; mom, Sonja Gulotta (Peterson); brother, Brandon Gulotta; sister-in-law, Chrissy Gulotta; nephews, Lucas and Riley; husband, Jeff Hagemann; stepdaughters, Taylor Hagemann and Madi Hagemann; granddaughter, Evelyn and best friend, Tracey. A celebration of life will be held on May 25, 2024, at the Anglers in Manitowish Waters. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Schuff Veterinary Hospital in Woodruff.
