Elizabeth Anna Creasap (nee: Lehmann); 91 of Chicago, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16. Born on August 1, 1932, in Chicago, Elizabeth graduated from Harry S. Truman College of Chicago with honors in 1981. She was assistant buyer of bed linens at Wieboldt’s Department Store on State Street in Chicago before they closed permanently in 1987. She also worked in various administrative roles in the retail sector before retiring in 1997. Elizabeth enjoyed board games, especially Scrabble, Boggle, Mahjong, and computer gaming as well as reading non-fiction.
Beloved daughter to the late Edward Charles Lehmann Sr. (Father) and Annie Catherine (nee: Collins) Lehmann (Mother); survived by siblings Dorothy Mae (Raymond) Rizo and Charlotte Lillian McGuire Foley; and late siblings, Margaret Katharine Lehmann; Frances Mae (Steve) Yereb; Edna Mary (Angelo) Falibene; Helen Patricia Lehmann; Edward Charles Lehmann Jr.; Mary Anne (Robert) Stewart; Lorraine K. (Ronald) Campbell; loving and caring mother to Eugene Edward Creasap; Daniel Charles Creasap; Michael Joseph Creasap; Thomas Creasap; and Laura Ann Creasap (Bret Keith Bender); very fond and loving grandmother (“Granny Awesome” as affectionately coined) to Cody Avery Bender; aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held on Friday, Jan. 19 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162.
