Lydia Ann Wagner

Lydia Ann Wagner, 81, of Lac du Flambeau passed away on January 1, 2024 at Riverview Nursing Home in Tomahawk, following her battle with diabetes and dementia.

She was born Lydia Ann Martin to Howard and Helen Martin on September 4, 1942 in Chicago. Lydia had two younger sisters, Pat (Michael) Lysien and Carol (Scott) Fisher. In the early 1960s Lydia’s family bought a resort on Squaw Lake and that is where she met her soulmate, James Wagner. They were married in October 1962. 

Lydia is survived by her sister, Pat and brother-in-law, Scott Fisher; children, Mary Jo Wagner Bruyette (Jim), James Russell Wagner and Amy Jalinski; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and one special niece, Jaiden.

A private service will be held at a later date.
