Larry H. Krull

Larry H. Krull, 87, of Lac du Flambeau, and formerly of Peoria, Ill., passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1936 in Woodstock, Ill., the son of Harold and Myrtle (nee Wolf) Krull. Larry was a research chemist for the USDA for over 30 years. He was a leader in the Lac du Flambeau Lions Club and volunteered with the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) at Howard Young. He was also an active member at Ascension Lutheran Church in Minocqua. Larry married Mary R. Park and together they shared 63 years of marriage. Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; brother, Dennis Krull and brother-in-law, Gene Wensel. He is survived by his two sons, Fred (Joan) Krull and Matt (Karen) Krull; grandchildren, Brendan (Madey), Kathleen and Elizabeth Krull and Karl, Nikolaus, Katarina and Christian Krull; sister, Karen (Daniel) Moran and sisters-in-law, Ruth Krull and Lois Wensel. Larry is further survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Larry Krull’s name to Ascension Lutheran Church or Carthage College (Attn: Bridget Haggerty), 2001 Alford Park Drive, Kenosha, WI 53140.
