Charlotte Mary (Mulholland) Kiey was born July 21, 1928 in Philadelphia.
She graduated from Germantown High School and the University of Philadelphia.
When her husband’s enlistment in the Marines ended, they moved back to Wausau.
In her younger years Charlotte was involved at her church teaching Sunday School and other church activities. She was a Girl Scout leader, attended her children’s band, dance, cooking, track, football and whatever else they had.
She made her husband feed the squirrels and birds every day. She loved her flower gardens.
Charlotte worked to help her husband afford college. After the children grew up, she was office manager for her husband’s dental practice.
She was a great person that made home a welcome place. It was said that Charlotte didn’t have a mean bone in her body.
For years she enjoyed cooking large dinners on the holidays for friends and family.
She truly was a beautiful person inside and out, never a hair out of place.
Charlotte is survived by her three children Debra Ewing, Donald (Karen) Kiey Jr. and Linda Kiey. Three grandchildren Don III, Jirad and Tanner Kiey. Three great-granddaughters and her sister-in-law Audrey (Warren) Pope.
