Raymond Joseph LaPuma

Raymond Joseph LaPuma, age 58, of Rhinelander, died on December 23, 2023, at his home, with his loving family at his side.

He was born on February 18, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Carole (Franz) LaPuma.

He was born and raised in Chicago and attended schools there. In the early 1990s he moved to Rhinelander where he has lived since and worked as an auto mechanic.

Raymond married the former Karen Ytsen in January of 2023, and they created many wonderful memories in the time they shared together. 

He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening and putting out Christmas decorations. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Raymond is survived by his wife Karen, his daughters Amber Bridges and Josie LaPuma, his sons Lance Reinke, Dustin LaPuma and Joseph LaPuma, his stepdaughter Amy Bock, his stepsons Daniel Bock and Michael Bock, his 19 grandchildren, his mother Carole, and his sister Sherrie (Joseph) Cutinello and twin sister Gina (Scott) Yepsen. 

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph, his daughter Amanda, and his sister Cynthia.

There will be a visitation for Raymond on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a memorial service following at 1 p.m., all at the Carlson Funeral Home.
