Andrew C. Meyer

Andrew C. Meyer, 87, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.

He was born on December 10, 1936, in Milwaukee, to the late Gustav and Margaret (Bishoff) Meyer.

He graduated from Milwaukee Boys Tech High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and later became an accomplished tool and die maker at Perlick Company in Milwaukee.

Andrew married the former Esther Huebner in 1960. Together they raised two sons, Andrew and Scott. In retirement, they relocated to Lac du Flambeau.

He was an avid woodturner; enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, golfing, fishing, and photographing nature; was the home handy-man; and was always busying himself in the basement work- shop.

Survivors include his son, Andy (Melody) Meyer; daughter-in-law Theresa Meyer; grandchildren Katrina, Diana, Laura, and Jacob; sisters Clarice Drewicz and Karen Pena.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther; and his son, Scott Meyer.

A celebration of life will be held at Elmbrook Church, Brookfield, on Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon.
