Nancy Lou Kassien

Nancy Lou Kassien, 78, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024, following a brief illness. Nancy was born in Janesville, in 1945, to Nester and Betty Brown.

She attended Prairie College in Alberta, Canada and later Nicolet College in Rhinelander. She married Robert (Jim) Kassien on July 14, 1973, in Madison. She worked in home health care and later retired from Walmart. She was an active member of The Community Church of Boulder Junction. She enjoyed reading and teaching Sunday school for many years. She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Jim Kassien, children Jay (Nikki) Kassien and Kris Kassien (Jim Reed), grandchildren Casey Kassien, Gary Buchert, Geoff Reed, Anna Reed and Lily Reed and brothers Mike (Sue) Brown and Dan Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

The family will host a celebration of life at a future date in the spring.
