Jo­Ann Patricia Joost

JoAnn Patricia Joost, age 80 of Eagle River, and formerly of Woodruff, passed away on April 1 at Legacy of the Northwoods in Eagle River. JoAnn was born on November 22, 1943, in Berwyn, Ill. the daughter of Frank and Irene (nee Baum) Wolfinger. She attended Maine West High School and attended Mundelein College. JoAnn married William Joost on January 11, 1964. JoAnn enjoyed traveling and sewing.

She is survived by her daughter Terri (Troy) Adams and by her grandchildren Sarah Foote, Jake Long, Alesha Swanson and Adrian Adams and by her great grandchildren Lucas Long, Willow Swanson, Elora Long, Cayden Garsow and Drake Swanson and by her brother Greg Wolfinger. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband William Joost and her parents.

Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 13, at Nimsgern Funeral & Cremation Services in Woodruff from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m.
