Janille “Jan” Donna Stofflet

Janille “Jan” Donna Stofflet, 89, a resident of Minocqua, died Monday, April 1, 2024, under the care of Hospice at Rennes Health and Rehab in Rhinelander. She was born November 10, 1934, in Milwaukee.

Janille loved to volunteer and help others. She helped her church, the HYMC Auxiliary, and the Lakeland Pantry. She loved to spend her free time quilting, knitting, embroidering, cooking fine foods, and baking. Her most cherished memories though were of the time she got to spend with her family.

Janille was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur G. Stofflet; parents: Earl and Clara Jaeger. She is survived by her children: David (Crystal) Stofflet, Christine (Michael) Hayes; grandchildren: Jeremiah Haas, Jessica Clifford, Justin Haas; great-grandchildren: Nils Clifford, Wakefield Haas, Fislar Haas; and Annie her dog that is being cared for and loved by another dog lover.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 11, at 11 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Minocqua. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Lakeland Pantry in memory of Janille.
