Janet Audrey (Bruns) Miller
Janet Audrey (Bruns) Miller has passed away early September 7, 2023 surrounded with love and family. She was 78. Born in Rhinelander Wisconsin on January 11, 1945 to parents Marion (Borda) and Donald Bruns. Janet is also preceded in death by her sister Donna (Bruns) Wentworth, brother-in-laws Ray Wentworth, Michael Sabin and “Butch” Bollmer, son-in-laws Dave Woodall and Ray Guynes.
Our mom was not a selfish woman. She chose to live in love, grace, forgiveness and charity of all she had. She openly shared all she had with whoever needed, asking nothing in return. She was much stronger than she gave herself credit for but we all knew it. It was evident in how she lived and how she raised us kids. Her life well lived and love abundantly given is her legacy and our strength going forward. We all love you much, much more then words can say and appreciate you more deeply then you probably realized. We will sorely miss you until we are together again. We love you gobs and gobs, and bunches and bunches.
Janet is survived by sisters Leslie Bruns-Sabin and Elisa Bruns, brother Kurt (Polly) Bruns (and their children respectively).
Mom/Nana is survived by children Lisa (Robert) Snow, Emery (Larry and Kimberly) Miller, Lynn Woodall and Lena Guynes, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She had many, many more honorary children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Saint Matthias Episcopal Church in Minocqua, with a potluck to follow. If anyone would like to donate, please call Lisa at 715-614-7544.
Mom asked that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to St Jude Children’s Hospitals.
Arrangements by Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, Eagle River. Online condolences may be expressed at gaffney-busha.com.
