Gerald P. Czajka

Gerald P. Czajka, 83, of Minocqua, passed away at Milestone Senior Living, in Woodruff, on Saturday September 9, 2023.

He was born August 25, 1940 in Chicago, to Charles and Harriet (nee Kipinski) Czajka. Gerald was the former owner of Lornor’s Portage Resort on the shores of Lake Tomahawk.

He is preceded in death by his former wife, Patricia Opolony; daughter, Christine Homer; uncle, Norman Czajka (who is the original owner of Lornor’s Portage) and brother, Charles Czajka II. Gerald is survived by his daughter Kim Neuroth of Arbor Vitae; six grandchildren, Grant (Karolina) Lassen, Ryan (Christina) Czajka, Brandon (Katie) Czajka, Briana Goertz, Nikolas Homer and Dylan Homer; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Gabriel, Benjamin, Steven, Noah and Christopher and cousin, Bob Berk.

Inurnment will take place at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, Ill.
