Lois graduated high school in 1959 and dedicated her life to her family and colorful career of many talents. Designing and creating wedding dresses or hemming a pair of trousers, no job was too big or small for her passion for sewing. Lois always found time to keep in touch with her family and friends with her creative and thoughtful greeting cards from her impressive collection of card stamps and specialty material to suit any occasion while warming the hearts of all she touched. Her green thumb for gardening, creative mind for sewing, and her talent for bringing people together through cooking has made a loving caring impact across generations and will forever live in her children. While her winters were spent in Fort Myers, Fla. and summers divided between family in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin while always watching for her beloved butterflies and hummingbirds from the sanctuary of her porch swing or puzzle room. From her early involvement in the Bell Telephone Women’s Pioneers of Bell to most recent Ladies of Horizon Village Card Club, Lois always found ways to be involved and have a positive influence in her community.

A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. with light meal and refreshments available during the gathering time and a memorial service will take place at 7 p.m.
