Michael Waddell
Michael Waddell, 53, of Jacksonville, N.C., formerly of North Aurora, Ill. passed away on May 8, 2023 in Jacksonville, N.C. Mike attended Goodwin Elementary School in North Aurora and West Aurora High School in Aurora, graduating in 1988. In 1990, he joined the Army and made it a career, retiring in 2011 as a master sergeant. He is survived by his wife and four children in North Carolina and Oklahoma, also, his father, Ron, in Minocqua. He was preceded in death by his mother Andrea “Andi.” Services were held with a burial at Northwoods National Cemetery in Harshaw.
