Robert C. Steele

Robert C. Steele, 89 of Margate, Fla., and formerly of Minocqua, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 1, following an accidental fall.

Preceded in his death were his parents, Russell and Elsie Steele, Minocqua; his loving wife, Saundra; sister Joyce Gawronski, Oconomowoc; and sister-in-law Karen Steele, Woodruff.

Surviving loving family is daughter Connie (Curt) Castro of Coral Springs, Fla.; sister Irene Kohl, Woodruff; brother Tom Steele, Woodruff; brother-in-law Jerry Gawronski, Oconomowoc; many loving nieces and nephews, so many dear friends, and his little cat Sammy.

After college in California, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served honorably for three years. He had a long and successful career with AT&T Bell South, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., until his retirement.

Bob was a gifted piano musician and it was a great passion in his life. As a member of Northwest Focal Point Senior Center, Margate, Fla., he performed many special joyful concerts for the center. The angels will hear his next song.

Graveside services with all military honors will take place at Lake Worth, Fla. Military Cemetery.
